In an effort to balance my creative endeavors, I always strive to compliment my corporate clients with smaller, arthouse projects that allow me total creative freedom to explore the other end of the spectrum. Each experience elevates my abilities in different ways, as my corporate projects have taught me the importance of simplicity and adhering to strict brand guidelines while my experimental projects have kept my creative juices fresh and flowing.
Thus, when Turnbull Green asked if I’d be interested in handling the creative direction for the release of his debut album on the heels of a long, personal run of corporate gigs, I was excited to dive into something with no limitations and no preexisting direction.

The biggest challenge of the project was to somehow describe an undefinable album/artist into a terse, press-friendly bio of 250 words or less. I was fortunate enough to be able to write from experience, having known Turnbull Green for the better part of fifteen years. Here is the result:
